This was a fantastic wedding, set in a fantastic location, yes everything about it was fantastic 
St. Agnes is a beautiful coastal town in Cornwall where Shereen and Stewart both live, they met here too and have fond memories of the quaint beginnings of their relationship which has now developed into a wonderful partnership for life.
They make a gorgeous couple who compliment each other perfectly. All the best to them and many congratulations

I’ve known Seema for quite a few years now, we’re practically family, if you’re Asian and reading this, you’ll know what I mean
When Seema asked me to photograph her wedding, I was thrilled. I knew hers would be a wedding that I would never forget and I was right. This was one of the best weddings I’ve been to and photographed, everything was organised so well and everyone was so welcoming.

A few weeks ago, I attended a Church ceremony in our local village (Riccall, York), it was a ceremony to celebrate marriage. An intimate ceremony to renew vows and just appreciate the value of marriage. Here are a few images of the interior of the Church.

This month, I attended the SWPP Members Day where I met some fellow photographers from the Yorkshire region and some from beyond. Stewart Randall, talked us through his style of photography and later we had the chance to build our portfolio by photographing the gorgeous Emma McVey.

Renu and Mohammed had an intimate Registry held at Bradford Registry Office, that was followed by a small reception at Aakash Restaurant in Cleckheaton.
Renu and Mohammed’s love story is like something out of a Bollywood film, they’ve endured much adversity and stayed together for the many years, finally tying the knot on the 26th of March, 2011.
Renu was surrounded by her lovely friends in the absence of her family and Mohammed’s family showered her with lots of love and welcomed her into their family. This was an emotional wedding, albeit, a really lovely one to capture.

Great news everyone, I am now an accredited member of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers.

I took part in the Chris Chambers Photography course that took place at Hazlewood Castle last week. Learnt lots of new off camera flash techniques. Chris is an inspirational photographer and his work has won him many awards, it was a great learning experience.

I was contacted late on Friday night to ask if I was available to photograph Farah and Rafaqat’s wedding. I was free, so took the job and was so glad I did too.
Farah was a stunning bride. Shy and reserved to begin with, Farah soon relaxed after I had a chat with her and cuppa tea. Farah had never worn make up or been this dressed up in her entire life, so this was a bit of a shock to her system.
Both the wedding day and walima were held at Castlemere Community Centre in Rochdale. Again this was a big family of four sisters and a brother, and they all made the day so much fun.

I met Shaziya and Nafeez in Tanzania, Shaziya was introduced to me through a mutual friend and I met Nafeez, who is originally from Kenya a few months later. After 8 years, Nafeez finally got down on his knees and proposed on a secluded beach island in Tanzania.
They got married in Toronto and had a traditional Mehndi, Pithi and Nikah at the Ismaili Jamatkhana.

This was such a fun photoshoot. The shoot was on location at Skipwith Common, near Selby and at Selby Abbey. Lucy is a Sheffield based model who wanted something different to go in her portfolio, so we had a fun day out in the woodlands and by the Abbey.
Lucy was a great to work with, very versatile and photogenic too.
